What hours are you open?
Our hours of operation are by appointment, Monday thru Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm.
Do your physicians travel to each office location?
Yes, all of our physicians see patients at both locations.
Which physician should I make an appointment with?
Each of our doctors are highly trained with a wide variety of specialties in ophthalmology and optometry. Our patient services team will schedule you with the doctor that best fits your eye care needs.
Does your office provide LASIK?
Yes! Dr. Knauf provides state of the art refractive procedures from All-Laser LASIK and PRK procedures to the implantation of ICLs and Phakic IOLs. Call to schedule a free LASIK consult today!
What insurance plans do you accept?
Eye Site of Tampa Bay participates with Medicare and most other insurance companies. Please visit our Insurance page and call our office at (727) 799-3772 to verify your insurance is in network with our physicians.
Am I able to drive after my appointment or do I need to bring someone to drive?
Depending on your type of appointment, you may want to have someone with you that can drive you home. If your appointment requires you to have your eyes dilated, you may want to consider bringing someone that can drive you home. We do provide you with sunglass shades at the end of your appointment to help patients who have had their eyes dilated.
Do you sell glasses and contact lenses?
Yes, we have a full service optical shop in both of our locations. You don’t even need an appointment to come in and browse our large selection of glasses.
Can I bring in an outside prescription to purchase glasses from your optical shop?
Yes!
